You're highly attuned. You pick up body language, tone, the teeeeeny pause, the thing nobody said out loud.
Before you even hit post, you're already imagining her (“her” = the woman who would never buy from u anyway) reading it. The unsubscribe. The eye roll. The “ughhhhh, another sales email SO ANNOYING.”
And you cannonball straight into the pool with her. Her imagined annoyance becomes your truth. And so you make yourself smaller.
You bury the link in a P.S. in size 8 font (if you even make the offer at all). you teach for free forever and hope someone eventually asks how to pay you.
I did this for YEARS.
